PIX Copy and Paste
PIX Copy and Paste is a text code representing a PIX charge; the payer pastes the code into their bank app to pay.
PIX Copy and Paste is the text version of a PIX charge. Instead of scanning a QR Code, the payer copies a code (the same content as the QR) and pastes it into the "PIX Copia e Cola" field of their bank app to complete the payment.
It's useful when you can't show a QR Code — for example, in an in-app checkout or a message. Technically, the code follows PIX's EMV® standard and carries the amount, the recipient and a transaction identifier.
